Community Servings feeds more than 325,000 meals to 1,000 low-income Boston residents’ and their families. This new location will be able to double their current operating number from 40 to 80.

Daily Table is an innovative not-for-profit retail model developed to address hunger, food insecurity, and the related health issues that are often associated with a poor diet. Their mission is to help communities make great choices around food by making it easy for them to choose tasty, healthy, convenient, and affordable meals and groceries. By using surplus food from supermarkets, growers, and distributors, Daily Table is able to offer wholesome groceries and prepared meals to the community at affordable prices, competing with junk food alternatives. Much of the food will be prepared in our on-site kitchen. Their first store is located at 450 Washington Street in Dorchester; their second location is at 2201 Washington Street in Roxbury.
