a) City Council Recognition and Swearing In.

i) Mayor Jefferson asked the City Clerk to announce the status of the election. Acting City Clerk Carlile said, based on the Unofficial Election Results provided by Arapahoe County, the newly elected Cou...

ii) City Council made a determination of the election and qualifications of its membership.

iii) There were comments and recognition of families and guests by the departing members of City Council.

iv) The newly-elected/re-elected City Council Members were sworn in by the Honorable Judge Christopher Boeckx.

v) Reception Council recessed at 7:50 p.m. for a brief reception. The meeting reconvened at 8:20 p.m.

vi) Members of City Council were seated (in temporary spaces) and Mayor Jefferson asked the City Clerk to call the roll of City Council Members.

vii) Mayor Jefferson called for nominations for Mayor.

viii) Mayor Jefferson assumed the Chair and called for nominations for Mayor Pro Tem.
